Now that things have greened up a little with the most recent rain, I thought I would post a couple of pics of the house and landscaping that we have worked so hard on.
This first couple of pics are from the street. The big trees in the front were from the previous owner as well as most of the hedges in front of the house. Most of our work has been in the back yard. We really like the black mulch as it provides more of a contrast to the colors.
Here is view from the back porch. The smaller trees in the yard are some of the 14 we planted last year. The back yard used to have the same big trees as are outside the fence, but the previous owner wanted a big yard so he cut them down. Coming from West Texas, I cant get enough trees.
Here are some more misc pics of the landscaping and stuff we have done to fix up the house so far.... Enjoy.

Ok Ok already - your "suthen" mansion makes our little stucco hut look like - well a HUT! Beautiful house guys, I cant wait to see it in person!!! :0)
Great house. Landscaping really takes a lot of hardwork and effort. With a house and place as big as yours and you doing it hand-on, it would really take a lot of determination to finish the job. Hope we get to see when you have finished all your landscaping work.
